Terms and conditions
These terms describe the agreement between you and PawNote when using our digital records system for animal therapy. By creating an account, you accept the terms below.
1. Purpose of the service
PawNote provides records tools, booking, and owner management for authorised animal therapists. The system may not be used for private purposes or activities that conflict with applicable law.
2. Account and access
- You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity that happens on your account.
- Access may be suspended if misuse, security risk, or missing payment is suspected, where relevant.
- Account sharing or unauthorised access to other people's data is not allowed.
3. Data responsibility and content
You are controller for the information you register about animals and owners. You guarantee that you have a lawful basis for registering and processing the information and commit to respecting applicable rules for record keeping, retention, and deletion.
4. Operations and availability
- We aim for high uptime and regular backups.
- Planned maintenance is announced when possible and is usually carried out outside ordinary working hours.
- The system is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted operation.
5. Payment and termination
- Any paid subscriptions are billed in advance and follow the prices stated in your agreement.
- Termination can take effect at the end of an active billing period unless otherwise agreed.
- On termination you can export your data; we retain only information required by law.
6. Limitation of liability
PawNote is an assistive tool and does not replace professional judgement. We are not liable for indirect loss, data loss, or consequential damages unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
7. Changes to terms
We may update the terms when the service or legislation changes materially. Significant changes are announced by email or in the application. Continued use after the effective date is considered acceptance of the new terms.
8. Contact
Questions about the terms can be sent to PawNote support. We aim to answer enquiries within two working days.
